OUR ECO PODS
As we put the finishing touches to our Pods, the images below give you an idea of how your accommodation will look once it is all complete and ready for you to stay with us.
The site comprises just three individual Pods, each situated a good distance apart from each other for maximum privacy and seclusion, at the top of our nine acre field.
Each Eco Pod incorporates a living area including sofa and kitchenette, plus a double bed and compost toilet / shower room.
A little wood-burning stove enables you to enjoy cosy evenings even in the cooler months.
Outside each Pod is a large decking area with chairs and table.
Everything you need to be comfortable indoors and out.
OUR UNIQUENESS
Many camping pods around the UK are pre-fabricated and arrive ready-made and ready for habitation. All very nice, we have no doubt. But we always set out to be a little different in everything we do and once Jennifer's construction and creative skills took off, there was no stopping her.
The result is a trio of unique Pods, each one incorporating a large proportion of natural and salvaged materials, beautiful reclaimed wood and some quirky touches that make each Pod slightly different in its finish.
OUR VIEWS
From your Eco Pod you will enjoy glorious views across both the Ebbw and Sirhowy Valleys.
The hills incorporating the Cwmcarn Forest Trail can be seen opposite us and a walk up to the top of our own Machen Mountain on a clear day offers a stunning panorama including Caerphilly, Cardiff and the Bristol Channel with England in the far distance.
We are located within the gateway to the Brecon Beacons, an idyllic area for walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders, as well as those of you that prefer to drive to your scenic views. With Cardiff just a 35 minute drive to the south, lovely beaches not much further on from there and just 20 miles from the English border, our site really does provide an excellent, accessible base for your holiday, no matter how and where and how you want to spend your days.
The pictures below are those we have taken from within and around our site at different times of the year. We have no doubt you will love taking your own beautiful photos when you visit but will agree with us that no photograph can do justice to the stunning scenery you will experience in person.

Special Opening Rate
Just £75 per Pod per night for stays up until
30th April 2022
Thereafter £105 per Pod per night up until 31st August 2022
£85 per Pod per night from 1st September to end of November 2022
Pods can each accommodate up to two people
(16 years and older)
