GETTING HERE
Coming by train:
Our nearest station is Crosskeys from which we are a 10 minute taxi ride away. Ask to go to the top of Blackvein Road and your driver can follow the driving directions given below.

Driving from the South (Newport / M4)
We recommend you type Blackvein Mountain Road into your SatNav rather than a postcode (also ignore the locations given for Ebbw View Eco Stays on Google Maps as they are wrong!). You will drive onto Blackvein Road from a left turn off the Western end of Risca's high street.

Drive all the way up Blackvein Road - it's steep and it's twisty. Near the top you will cross a cattle grid then go along a flatter stretch of road, past a farm, then you will see the Pods on your right.

Driving from the North or West (Brecons)
Type in Islwyn Street, Cwmfelinfach and follow that road down and to the left by the Sirhowy River, then go under the bridge before climbing steadily up to the top of the hill which becomes Blackvein Road. Our site will suddenly appear on your left after 2 miles.
